Cars can be divided into two-door, three-door, four-door, five-door, etc. according to the number of doors. Cars used for official purposes are mostly four-door, while cars used for family purposes include both four-door and three-door (with the rear door being a liftgate) as well as five-door models. Sports cars used for racing purposes are mostly two-door.
